About

Strategy. Creativity. Passion.

OCTANT8 is a catalyst.

We bring perspective, energy, clarity, creativity, strategy, and ideas to help organizations understand their moment and move forward.

OCTANT8 grew out of our many years of collaboration in the nonprofit sector. After a challenging season at a previous organization we realized our experiences, in both and good and tough situations, and wide range of skills could be the help that many nonprofits need.

Our goal has always been to be a catalyst for organizations. We bring unique creative, cultural, and strategic skills that come from our diverse backgrounds in entrepreneurship, engineering, social causes, music performance, arts & culture, technology, and business management.  We see the big picture and the details. We can navigate the boardroom and the mailroom. We are visionaries yet also pragmatists. We balance the tension between linear and design thinking. We are strategic and operational. We see what everyone else has seen, but think what no one else has thought. And we love what we do.

We are a consultancy that brings proven skills and perspective to help nonprofits in the growth or regeneration cycle develop capacity and sustainability. We have a combined 35 years in the non-profit industry working with organizations in all lifecycle stages. Our focus on capacity-building, resource-maximization, and culture-change translates long-term objectives into proper daily practices and activities that aggregate to real sustainable growth.
